Marsala Vintage 1980 – Virgin Reserve

An authentic Marsala, bright golden yellow in color with vivid and warm tones of old gold. Sweet, gentle herbaceous vanilla notes reminiscent of hay. Clear fruity and citrus notes of dried fruit and under spirits, from dried figs to roasted walnuts and almonds to orange peel, with a mineral and saline finish. The taste is full, dry, warm and soft with a perfect correspondence of the fragrant sensations on the nose, great freshness and almost brackish savoriness. An elegant, structured and persistent wine.

Serve as a chilled aperitif (8°/10°) to pair with canapés with smoked fish enriched with spices, excellent with bruschetta topped by EVO Olive Oil with Urchin roe and Tuna Bottarga. Conversation wine (14°/16°), to be paired with aged cheeses
of good persistence, to dry desserts and dark chocolate, but also outstanding on its own. Recommended to be served in a tulip-shaped goblet of medium size.
